Criss Angel - Mindfreak Magic?
Ok gang . I am at it again for another season of “busting criss angel’s magic acts”
Let me start with saying.. The audience is fake.. always fake. no matter what it looks like , they are there knowing and seeing how the trick really is done. and when he is at a real true live event , the fake audience is always up front , unless it is a small act where he does cheap parlor tricks.
The exploding building, the first door lock was planned he was not to get through that door because the script said so. kicking the window in, it was a break safe sugar glass window.it was a prop. all of the footage of him running around picking locks inside, previously recorded before the show.. the announcer says ” I have never heard 15000 people be so quiet… or invisible. when he kicked in the glass as you where watching the pre-recorded junk, he was running downstairs through open doors out the back. and was safely away.
puts hand through man I dunno who did this video and edited it.. but he is right. a lil stupid, but right. watch how long criss’ magical arm is when it pokes through.
rips woman in half : for starts, this woman has been on all talk shows since the early eighties when she was just a child. the woman you see lay down, they don’t show her face.. pause camera and another woman lays down at the fake feet.
Walks through Glass : the glass is longer than the window area. lower left corner is missing . if you listen closely you can hear the window slide up.
makes woman dissapear: when you see the handshake through the blanket, the girl is long gone and the hand the guy is shaking is a fake hand on a stick, you will see guy run wrong way with the stick in back ground. 
The head you see poking through blanket, is fake it is on a hinge, when blanket gets yanked back, the head swings behind backrest.
walks on water this guys is somewhat right, But really I think some scenes where you do not see his face, he is suspended, just because you are too lazy to think someone would take the time, does not mean they would not take the time.. it is entertainment .. ya know? not real magic!
walks up a wall.. I would assume there is a crane out of camera view.
Chain trick : dur dur slip knots!

steam roller trick.. he is laying in a hole. no matter what you tell yourself you saw. you did not see that spot in the ground before he laid down.. notice the cracks in pavement notice he is holding himself up by elbows and toes.below him is cushion in a hole.
the whole bit where he was lowered into a tank in a silver box.. you see him with an oxygen mask on.. and the guy who “could not descend” was just there to stir up the water and make it panicky looking.. it’s an act . the whole bit is an act. to make you feel like they show real stuff also. they say he has no idea about water pressure, but he has done this damn trick before…STAGED.
man hole cover, the one he carried was plastic, they dropped a real one at the same time as when he set the plastic one down, when he turns and picks up the “manhole tool thingy” lol you hear the other one drop over the manhole and it is no longer sitting the way the original was.. the key there was the camera was away from the manhole while he got the tool. but the error was, the real one was dropped while criss was talking so the audio could not be edited… you see the look in his face was like “f***, you are soooo fired dude” … HAHAHAHAHA (man I really need a link to this video.) Second Time he says “right back in the hole” .. lol continuous shot cam.. lol gayness,
Manhole 2 watch the ground for markings and see it is just barely out of camera veiwe. scoot cam forward focus out pan back down . looks like cam did not move at all.
Levitation from building to building : this dude really did his work… excellent job. edited footage. took many hours and a few days.
The Houdini escape from the jail cell.. stupid and staged . Audience was in on trick also. Don’t believe me? don’t understand how?.. dur dur when he magically made the picture fall off the mirror was the part that lets you weigh your own intellect, or admit to yourself you are an idiot. the picture had a string attached.
Wine glass with needles in it, there is a second glass attached to the back of the wine bottle. Notice his belly button is nearly up to his ribs?… fake skin.. why not?
the wood chipper, the cops clearly are not cops so the whole thing about “he always does about 17-20 seconds, so I dunno how he is gonna do 15 ” is bs to sell you into the drama. the angles do not allow you to see anything, you can not examine the area below or beside the chipper or between the chipper and the truck.. roll out side walk along side and climb in truck when cam pans to mom and g/f.
Mind reading numbers on hands : either the girls are in on it, or there is always someone standing behind them when they show the other person their number

Camera tricks are cheap, why not watch a movie instead and believe it’s real? The movie will have better acting at least. Live magic is awesome though, even though it’s not real you have to appreciate when people perform it well.
You poor ,poor, out of work has been magician, if you would have spent more time honing your craft instead of sitting behind a monitor trying to de-bunk Criss Angels skills ( and quite poorly I might ad ) maybe you would had gotten a little farther in your own pathetic career.

The bash is not on chriss, it’s his camera crew it’s his choreography , his acting, it’s the whole idea that by making stupid face with no expression while telling you how scared he is of the “dangerous” stunt he is about to pull, as aposed to checking and balancing all visual properties, before putting his tricks to video… because we do rewind and play back.

Some guy at work was trying to tell me that Criss Angel’s shit is real. So I slapped his bitch ass. It was funny because everyone was laughing at him when I did it. You’re all fucking losers. Kill yourselves for watching lame TV shows.
This isn’t fair… So what if it’s all fake, ppl really like Criss Angel’s show so why do yah gotta go and ruin it for everyone. i mean really everyone knows its fake in someway but its entertaining to watch. It is entertainment. People know the jail escape demonstration was set up. He told how he did it. The line attached to the picture……making a duplicate key the night before..how to break the older handcuffs. He explained how he set things up, how he did it. Obviously, it wasn’t explained with all the details. But, then again, it is a show on television. Also, on his website, as anyone can check….he lets his fans know when and where they can see his demonstrations. They can be at the site when it is filmed. Criss does the editing, so he can add, or delete or even retape a demonstration if he chooses. It is entertainment, as an actor in a movie. People who choose to believe that a movie star is really acting out their life in a movie…..well, the choose to believe that… It is fine to express how you feel about a perticular entertainer, but to express yourself as such a negative person who knows how things are done, and try to ruin things….it just shows that you are miserable that you are not the one making a tv show, and living his life as a star. There are alot of perks in doing what he is doing. Anyway, to summerize things up, if you were in his position, you wouldn’t want people to tear you up, and try to hurt fans feelings.
Of course it’s an act, it’s entertainment, but this guy is just so weak about it. The entire presentation of “street” magic reduces the entertainment to something babal, on the level of optical illusions or bar bets. Look at all the kids doing Davis Blaine tricks on youtube….no wonder, no mysticism, they’re presenting a puzzle: “I’m making the rubber bands separate from each other - guess how!”. Look up Jamy Ian Swiss or Ricky Jay: when these men make weird things happen in their hands, you can’t even wonder why. The speech, the movement is flawless. When I see Criss Angel, I just wonder why he bothers. It’s a character, but it’s a dull one.

Criss Angel is an entertainer, not a magician. I do sometimes see errors during his show that clearly point out that the stunt or illusion in question is set up and fake. However I do not focus on the tiny errors, hired actors and non-stop dribble about how Criss Angel is a big fake but more on his performance and the believability of it.
Criss is an extremely talented and handsome young man that has succeeded in the world of show business and made a name for himself. Think of the preparation, planning, organizing and hard work that goes into pulling off some of Criss’s greatest illusions like walking on water, cutting himself in half and levitating.
You don’t know how extremely difficult it is to put together something so believable that its unbelievable, Criss puts a lot of time, effort and money into making the stunt just right purely for our entertainment.
Its a damn shame that some people choose to look at the little differences instead of the big picture, if we all did that then we wouldn’t be entertained now would we?!
When Criss says that a stunt he is going to perform is real he’s stating the seriousness of the situation. A lot of his illusions and stunts often have pyrotechnics like fire or explosions, even though the stunt is set up and planned before hand the risk of Criss getting seriously injured is real. He knows the risks he takes when he does these stunts, anything could go wrong and one mistake could be the end of it all. So technically not all of his stunts are fake, there is a REAL chance that Criss could get injured. Plus anyone who would dare try any of Criss Angel’s stunts without any safety precautions or knowledge of how the stunt is actually performed would get seriously hurt or even killed, there is NO WAY that not even the bravest person could perform one of Criss Angel’s set up tricks, without the use of any of the techniques used in the stunt.
The point is Criss puts himself in real danger just for our entertainment and he enjoys his profession, even if some things are fabricated or set up. He is doing what he loves to do and who are we to insult and expose him, why should every comment be a negative comment?!
I’m positive that Criss is a wonderful, kind, talented and hard working person that goes to great lengths to please and entertain his fans. Dig deeper, look past the fake illusions, set up stunts and paid actors, see Criss Angel as not a big fake but a talented performer.
That, I believe is more believable than any old magic trick.

Having said that - Criss Angel is an illusionist! This is his job and the job of all magicians. They are entertainers.
The magician/illusionist’s job is to make people question their senses, bring astonishment and affect people in ways that, for example, movies affect people. We all know that these things are not real. We all know that a person cannot really levitate or pass through a solid object or read minds. Its all an illusion.
We all know its an illusion, but for many people they enjoy the effort and appreciate it for what it is - entertainment. And in the end, its just entertainment. Criss Angel is an entertainer and he has entertained millions. So, what have you done?
Our job as the audience is to suspend our disbelief for a moment much like how we accept movies for what they are. We enjoy movies because they are entertaining. Guess what! Tranformers and Superman are not real - you wanna talk about them also?
As for you, Truxter - If by ‘FAKE’ you mean - “I hate Criss Angel and whatever anybody says I will always discredit him and call him a FAKE and his entire show a FAKE and I just wanna appear smarter than most people and call them stupid.” Then you’re the idiot!

Oh for god’s sake! Will you people get a life!! Criss Angel is an entertainer. He is very good at what he does. He makes you ask “How did he do that!” You actually have to thing about it. He is an illusionist. It is his job to make it look real. Can hgets you to think, he has done it!! Oh, by the way, there is no “hole” under the steamroller. There is no way he, or anyone, could afford to have “fake audiences”. Think about it. Someone along the way would spill the beans. You can’t buy off that many people! Some, maybe, but he does his stuff in front of far to many! Could you imagione the publicity of someone that was there during one of his demonstarions and it was faked!! Use your heads!! Who thinks magic is real? Why do you think they are called illusionists? Of course they look real, they are good at what they do and spend years training. Which is why you never get to see anything in action. There’s always a sheet in front or some kind of aspect of the view that you cannot see. I wouldn’t say he is a fake, I think Chris is excellent at what he does and I enjoy watching him perform.
